This Privacy Policy explains the policy of Buyer Topia, Inc. ("BUYER TOPIA") regarding the privacy of information supplied by USERS of BuyerTopia.com ("SITE") or collected by BUYER TOPIA from SITE USERS. BUYER TOPIA intends to build USER trust and confidence in the SITE and is committed to protecting USER privacy.
User Information
The SITE server automatically recognizes the Internet URL from which a visitor is accessing the SITE. BUYER TOPIA may log a USER's IP address for system administration and troubleshooting purposes. (A USER's IP address indicates the location of the USER's computer on the Internet.)
Other than disclosing the information described within this privacy policy, BUYER TOPIA does not disclose a USER's specific information to third parties. BUYER TOPIA does, however, identify a USER in connection with its use of certain aspects of the SITE. For example, BUYER TOPIA may identify a USER with any e-mail message that a USER sends through the SITE.

BUYER TOPIA provides a wealth of information for our customer and publisher partners via e-mail, including service messages with important information about your account, informative newsletters, timely title alerts, special promotions, and other announcements that will keep you informed of the latest product and company news. You will have the option to manage your subscriptions to these communications or unsubscribe from receiving e-mail messages. Please note that BUYER TOPIA does not sell or rent our e-mail lists to third parties.
Store System
All USER information is kept completely confidential using the most current privacy laws, policies, processes, and technology. BUYER TOPIA will never use email address for any purpose other than to communicate about specific orders or to provide requested information; mailing addresses will only be used to fulfill orders. No USER addresses or purchasing history will ever be shared or sold.
The SITE and BUYER TOPIA maintains the latest encryption and secure processing technology to protect your financial information. No bank or credit card account information is ever captured or retained by the SITE or BUYER TOPIA.
Updates to This Policy
If BUYER TOPIA decides to change or update this Privacy Policy, it will post those changes and updates on this page so that the USER is always aware of what information BUYER TOPIA collects, how it uses that information, and under what circumstances BUYER TOPIA discloses it. BUYER TOPIA encourages each USER to review this Privacy Policy from time to time so USERS will know if the Privacy Policy has been updated or amended. Refund and Return Policy
You may return an item that arrived damaged or if you received an item in error. All returns must be made within two weeks of receipt. No C.O.D. returns will be accepted. All packing slips include a "return" label and complete return instructions. Please note that we are unable to exchange items unless received damaged, defective, or incorrect. Even if your purchase meets the criteria of what is returnable, we reserve the right not to issue a return if the purchase was a special order or if our distribution channel will not allow us to return the purchase to them.
Please contact us immediately if an order was received damaged, defective or was incorrect. A full refund will be given if it was the error of Buyer Topia. If error was that of the customer, a refund will be issued minus shipping costs.
We cannot issue refunds for the return of:
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any book that has obvious signs of use.
Any CD/DVD that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap).
Any item that is not in its original condition or is damaged.
Any copyrighted material that may be easily copied such as downloaded PDFs, software, and publications in three ring binders.
If you purchased a download in error please notify us immediately.
A per unit restocking fee of $1.25 will be charged on all returns.
Cancellation Policy
Orders are processed every two hours, 24 hours a day. Processing takes place on even hours, such as eight o'clock, ten o'clock and so on. If an order is caught within the two hour processing window, a full refund will be given. Buyer Topia, however, operates during normal business hours of 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. Therefore, cancellations must be made and received between 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. Once an item has been processed, the order cannot be canceled. If desired, once the item is received, it can be returned for a full refund minus shipping cost.
Cancellation for an item which is currently on backorder can be made within the first thirty days of the backorder, given the item has not yet been shipped. Once shipment takes place, please follow our refund and return policy. Cancellations of pre-publication orders more than thirty days before publication are subject to a 25% service fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations within thirty days of publication.
Please maintain electronic or written documentation of refund, return or cancellation requests.
